Description:
Seven men standing in front of the H.B. Elliott Meat Shop. The building is located on the east side of Water Street. This is where Farm & Garden store was in 1953. Aldritt's Hardware was located at this site from 1955 until c1961. Leipold's Gifts and Antiques came in 1971 and still occupies the site (2011). Lowell's wagon is the one with the white horse. Pendergast's wagon is in front. People left to right: Bert Elliott, Pete Eisenkramer, W.J. Thorman, George Pendergast, Lowell Moody, Dudley Moody, Mr. Taintor (bookkeeper). . This was the last building onthe East side of the street until the Masonic Lodge was built in 1926. This building burned in the fire of 1902.
