Deephaven Image Collection
Description:
Deephaven Station with the bridge in the background. This deopot was at the bottom of the driveway leading up to Chimo where Hazen Burton lived. Carsons Bay is the body of water the bridge is going over. This depot was named "Deephaven" by Mrs. H.J. Burton who insisted it be built in a rustic style of her manison (Chimo). The name soon applied to the school and community too. (Minnetonka's Picturesque Deephaven")
