Description:
Water Street. There are a number of similar pictures that say this is the West side of Water Street but another picture says it is the East side of Water Street from 256 Water Street to Second Street corner. It is believed to be the West side of Water Street. From "Walking the Trails of History": "The new brick Water Street after 1905. Looking toward the lake, 256—226 Water Street. L—R: Unknown, A.T. Morse Dry Goods, I.O.O.F., Newell's Bazaar Caffe, H.B. Elliott Meat Market, DeGroodt Hardware, Joslin Bros. Hardware, unknown."
