Description:
Northome stone Gate. Northome's stone entrance had a double arch when built in early 1900's by Florian Huber, a German stone mason, and Albert Anderson, brother of Elias Anderson. They'd been hired by R.M. Bennet and E. Clifford, residents of Northome. Later the left arch was removed to admit trucks, and in 1925 the road was impoved to accomodate increasing traffic.
