Grand Army of the Republic Civil War Veterans on Water Street, Excelsior, MN on Memorial Day. All the buildings in the picture were destroyed by fire in 1895 (1894).The picture taken of the west side of Water Street. Left to right: Unknown, Shuck & Jones Groceries and Feed, unknown, Walter Phillips Tinware, I.O.O.F., unknown ( Walking the Trails of History). On the back of one of the pictures it states the 3rd building on the right was owned by J.A. Wilson with Willis Wilson standing in the window (the child). People in picture were Left to Right: LeRoy Francis Sampson, James Hervey Clark, Edwin Aldritt, James Aspden, Thomas Ohm, Harvey Scott, Carlisle Pierce, Oscar O.
